Fields of Gold

Ragazzi Continuo is proud to present Fields of Gold, a journey of folksong this spring. We are excited to showcase music and texts that celebrate the simple joy of lifting ones voice with friends and colleagues. Usher in the spring with us as we sing Schubert's rousing “Trinklied” and Ralph Vaughn Williams’ “Down Among the Dead Men”, two songs which are just as comfortable in the concert hall and the beer hall. Listen to the lush harmonies of Florence Price’s “Nod”,  Béla Bartók’s “Four Old Hungarian Folk Songs”, and Kirby Shaw’s excellent arrangement of the jazz standard “The Nearness Of You". We will also be performing Continuo favorites “Loch Lomond”, “Down in the River to Pray”, and “Beati Mortui” with our audiences this May. Tickets are available now, and we can’t wait to see you there!
